Find solace, support, and a deep connection with animals & nature within the gates of Spirit’s Respite Ranch
Our primary offering is therapeutic riding for people with special needs. Horses play an exceptional role in emotional and physical healing, especially for individuals who are non-verbal or struggle to communicate in typical ways. Our gentle, hand-selected horses naturally respond to our clients, creating a sense of calm and security.
Through therapeutic riding, those we serve can build strength, coordination, and confidence, all while forming meaningful bonds with the animals. Our team proudly has EAL Canada-certified facilitators in Equine-Assisted Learning, who provide customized learning experiences to help clients develop personal and social skills in a non-verbal, interactive environment.
